About the club

Part of the JNS name, with more than 30 years of tradition. JNS Slovakia, o. z. is an independent Slovak non-profit association. JNS Czechia is our partner club: under licence we use their coaching method, team names and visual identity, but we run our own finances and make our own decisions. We started training in September 2026.

Sessions are run in Slovak. Our head coach also speaks English and Czech, so international children are very welcome.

How we train

Each session has three parts: warm-up, technique and choreography. The focus is cheerleading – jumps, stunts and choreography – alongside gymnastics and acrobatics basics, strength and conditioning. We teach acrobatics from the basics. Stunts and lifts are trained step by step, always with safety first.

Membership terms

Training: Devín Cultural Centre (Dom kultúry Devín) – Main hall, Kremeľská 39, 841 10 Bratislava. Monday 16:00 – 17:00, Wednesday 16:00 – 17:30. Children and teenagers, grouped by age and ability.

Your first two sessions are free, with no commitment. No need to book – just turn up and the coach will register your child on the spot. You can join at any point in the season. After two sessions you decide, and the membership fee applies from the next session.

Payment: by bank transfer only, with a payment reference, paid one month in advance, due by the last day of the previous month.

Uniforms and club T-shirts are paid for separately by parents, at a later stage. Competition costumes never carry partner logos – these only appear on training kit and tracksuits.

Employer contribution (in preparation). Under § 152b of the Slovak Labour Code, employers can contribute towards a child’s sporting activities. This requires the club to be listed in the national Sports Information System, which we have applied for. Until that is confirmed, we cannot guarantee the contribution.

We process personal data from the registration form under the GDPR (EU 2016/679) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll., for the purpose of registering and managing club members. We do not share data with third parties, except for compulsory entries for competitions your child takes part in. Registration runs through a Google form; the data is stored in the club’s account.

We only publish photos and videos of children with separate consent from a parent or legal guardian. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by email, and we will remove the photo.
